adding alittle rake
Hey guys, I am new to the customizing world and need some ..... i mean a ton of help. I want to add a few more degrees of rake to my 95 wide glide. Just to stretch it out another 2 or 3 inches. Can this be done WITHOUT messing up the handling of the bike or chopping the frame? Any help would be great.
thank you in advance.

You have a computer. Use Google and do some research. There are "Chopper Kits" out there that gives you raked trees and longer tubes. As for the handling ... any time you deviate from the stock set up, you change the rake and trail thus change the way the bike handles. Wideglides have 4/5 degrees more rake than the rest of the Dyna famly. I had a '96 WG and loved the way it handled. Just go ride it and learn how it handles. Like I said ... DO YOUR RESEARCH.

You can also try this site: http://www.chopper-kit-usa.com/suzuki-chopper-kits.htm
On thing to note, that most people overlook...when you add to your rake, you will be moving your handlebars/hand position down. This is more noticeable depending on your riser length..

thank you guys for the information ... i am doing a **** ton of research to MAKE sure i dont mess up my bike. I do like the way it handles now and DO NOT want to screw that up, but i really like the aggressive look just ALITTLE extra rake gives to that style of machine. Wide Glides have been my favorite since i can remember.
