Have 05 Superglide w/ Wideglide front end just put on harleys forward controls What factory looking crash bars will work now that the forward controls take up the holes for the factory crash bars. Harleys Catalog says they will not work with forward controls.

On my 03 FXD, I used the H-D wide glide engine guard 49010-93, which attaches with U-bolts. Not the greatest look but I painted the U-bolts black so they are less noticeable and am ok with it. Good luck!

Just be aware that the bolt-on crash bar will foul a True Track on the right side. The flange is
large enough that it hits the True Track's arm. I removed most of the flange, made a steel plate
adapter that *just* clears the arm and has slightly repositioned bolt holes.
