Default Name this wire/connector

So I finished putting on my new bars yesterday, which required I remove my S&S intake. Once everything was back together I see this connector hanging that I've never noticed before. It's actually tied in with another connector that plugs into the throttle body.. I can't see any place for it to go and am not sure if it was just connected to the OEM intake then jammed up out of the way once the S&S was installed... any ideas?

Dude, you are my freakin' hero! So it should be just jammed up/zip tied somewhere?

The is probably a place on the backplate of your air cleaner to hang it up on.

Anybody know if you can just chop it off? When I get a smaller hi flow a/c I was thinking about just lopping it off and tape the end off or is this maybe a bad idea?

Do you mean from the wires connecting? I'm fairly proficient at proper capping of electrical wires. I mean more about could I ever possibly need it for anything.

Default lop it off...

I considered snipping it and taping it off too, but was worried 'Murphy's Law' would catch up to me - just my luck for the MoCo to issue a software update or recall notice that might require that Euro connector to be in place. I have it tucked up out of the way behind the throttle assembly where it's out of sight and out of mind. BTW, my connector came with a protective cap to keep crud out of the plug, but if you're going to cut yours off anyway you won't miss it.
