You mean little green connector half way up the wiring, or get the connectors apart on the ends? You can cut out the green connector and splice through.
What ever you do, DO NOT cut anything above the green connector. My understanding is that all sorts of problems can result from doing that. Cut and splice after the green connector, if you have to, but not before (closer to the TBW sensor).
