Bike wont start, battery is fine.

I had a similar issue with a Yamaha I used to have. Pull the plugs out and see if it turns over. I had a leaky carb hydrolock my engine. With the plugs out it will open it up in case that is the issue. It will also make the engine easier to spin. If your starter is just weak, it may spin now, but not when the motor has compression.

The negative cable is hard to deal with as the MoCo assembles it. Next time you take the battery out, move it to the stud on the back of the primary. That way, you can hook it up with the battery out, slide the battery in and then hook up the positive. Makes battery / cable maintenance much easier.
As far as the no start is concerned, check both cables on both ends ... Also, you might try putting the bike in gear and moving it a little bit, then taking it out of gear and trying to start it again ... Could just be a bad spot in the starter ...
