Question Blinker Light Ghost???

Hopped on the bike the other day, started it up and the left blinker started up. Tried to shut it off, would not do it. Hit the right blinker, the left stops, then the flashers started blinking, shut them off. Ride a little and it starts all over again. Comes and goes, sometimes the left blinker will not work at all. Starts up almost every time you restart the bike. Sometimes just for no reason. Need to get it to the dealer, bugging the heck out of me. Any ideas? I have had the light bar under the windshield and signal mirrors since new and just had the windshield replaced. Guessing a short somewhere.

I don't know what kind of bike you have. Or what year. But my mind thinks of a flasher unit or the switch on the bars.

Default Blinker Light Ghost???

Are you using synthetic blinker fluid or Dino?

Check the connection in the switch housing and the relay.

A bad ground can cause lights to do some goofy things.

For sure. Chasin' wiring is a helluva task.

Better than ghosts, though.

LED or incandescent? Like you said, probably a short or grounding issue.
