The other day went for a ride, noticed the right blinker indicater on the dash was kinda flickering....so I pulled over at the next exit.Checked over things, didnt find anything . So i rode on. It didnt flicker anymore.
Just got back for a little ride, now the left indicater was flickering.....any ideas on what to check? The blinker itself was flickering too..
I also posted this in the electrical section, guess I shoulda put it there first...LOL But I looked over everything I could think of, it just started doing this, but I definatly will keep it udated as everyone should on the problem and the fix...as far as the switch, It would have to be both sides i would think? The first time it did it was the right side, now the left side flickers and the right is normal.... I'm going to recheck ALL the grounds and the switches....
Well, aint been riding much because of work, but went yesterday morning, now the left blinker is "on" and wont blink when you hit the switch.BOTH bulbs are lit up on the left side...the right will light up, but wont blink when you hit the blinker.... I can turn on the flashers, and only the right side blinks, the left stays lit up.
Thinking its a switch or something
I had a similar problem. There was a short in the rear bulb socket. It kept blowing the bulb. Socket was replaced under warranty and the problem was solved.
well, turns out the wires to the rear brake light and blinkers fell down on the rear tire up in the fender and i couldnt see it...luckily I took it to my local indy and he figured it out.
