Default heat shield polish

Ok so I went to October fest last year and the first thing me and my buddy did was head to the bikini bike wash on a1a. Now my question is they put some type of polish on my black vance and hines heat shields that glossed them up for the whole week we was out there, would anyone know what they used????

Are you asking because you want to have some gloss to your matt finish pipes?

I've used Pig Spit and it lasted well but maybe not a whole week.

Does it smell like bacon while you're riding? That would be an extra benefit.

Serious guess....WD 40, Lemon Pledge

The heat gives me pause...just not sure what product can survive.
A paint polish or glaze?

Bikini bike wash I also assume would have limited products for detailing.

If you figure it out, let us know.

Good luck.

I'd go back to the bikini bike wash and ask them

I am totally intrigued. I don't have a single black exhaust part, but I am dying to hear what it was.
