I just purchased a heat shield for my 95 Sportster 1200. Its several inches short and does not go all the way to my screamin eagle exhaust. The stock shield has one bend in it at the top. the one on my bike has two bends, just like the 204+ heat shields. I'm wondering if a 204+ heat shield would fit on my Evo?

 

I tossed the shields and put on tape. Perhaps I'm an odd ball, but I don't like the looks of shields. I actually like the color tones you get on chrome, but my pipes are black so I taped them to keep from melting my boot heel. It was only a couple of times a year, but now it doesn't happen..

 

We usta tape the pipes because they had holes in them.

I just cant's see doing that for the " Look " just plain stupid ghessss. What kind of look is that ? Like pigpen retro.

Back then we could not wait to get the coin needed to buy new pipes and toss the cheep repair.

No tape here. Just wanting to know if anyone can tell me where to find the 2 bend rear heat shield. Mine is scratched up and stock has only one bend near the top...
