Sampson/Caliber front heat shield

Sampson/Caliber front heat shield
On my Blue 02FXDWG3 the front pipe heat shield clamp "tab" on the rear portion of the 2 into 1 caliber exhaust has cracked. Thus, there's a real annoying rattle when revving. Has anyone else had this issue? Also, would anyone with an "extra heat shield want to part with it?

I just looked at your pic on the link you sent of your pipe! WOW...that really sux...I've never had a problem with V&H...these pipes were on the bike when I bought it back in Feb...put like 600miles on it...dealer tells me to call Sampson...Sampson tells me to have the dealer call them. Im just gonna try and TIG weld another piece ihave from another old heat shiled i have and hopefully spot it in two places and hide the heat burn through...we'll see..
