In the do-it-yourself section, TCSTD has posted parts of the 01 Electrical Diagnostics Manual showing how to set up some of the features of the alarm section, one of them is https://www.hdforums.com/m_321667/tm.htm

One of the features that can be changed is the sensitivity and I am trying to find out if this type of info is included in the 07 Electrical Manual. Has anybody done this or is it only able to be done by the dealer through the digital technician?

I called my dealer today and the only thing the parts guy could find was the install instrucions for the alarm, no setup info.

Any help would be appreciated.

Try this:-

(1) Turn IGN key ON-OFF-ON-OFF-ON

(2) Press LEFT TURN switch 2 times and release (2-3 flashes on turn signals will activate-2 Flashes-North American 3 Flashes-International)

(3) Press and hold key fob until confirmation is received (1 flash on turn indicators)

(4) Press left turn switch ONCE and Release (1 Flash Sensitivity LOW - 2 Flashes LOW - 3 Flashes MEDIUM - 4 Flashes HIGH

(5) Press and release LEFT TURN switch to advance through options as item 4

(6) When set turn ignition off

Hope that this does the trick ! I have set mine to Level 4 so it goes of if you fart near it !

 

PWHOG, thanks for the reply but the 07's don't have a button to depress on the fob.

Maybe I just have to break down and buy the electrical manual and hope it's in there.
