Default Primary capacity

Service manual has capacity at 38 oz. wet. Does anyone ever put in a quart (32 oz.) and ride instead of buying an extra qt to make up for the 5 oz. difference? thanks

Yes. Some people do it all the time and others don't ever do it.

I am in the "fill it to the proper level" camp.

Your bike, your choice.
