Default Variable pressure clutch

Just upgraded to a 107" big bore kit and cams from fuelmoto. They recommended a heavy duty clutch spring so I went with it. The clutch is holding fine with this setup however the clutch pull is a bit harsh at red lights and such. My question is, how much better is the clutch pull if I keep the Barnett HD spring and install an AIM 68LT variable pressure clutch? Any advice is appreciated here. Thanks!

At idle the clutch pull will be somewhat easier but at higher rpms while going through the gears, the clutch pull will be significantly stiffer but only for a short amount of time.

Go with something other than the AIM kit. Longer levers for the clutch release cam that the cable attaches to are a better solution. The AIM kit is finiky is my understanding.
I am using the SE spring and at 55 years old and not being Arnold strong, I don't have any trouble.

Would that require a longer clutch cable or just a straight bolt on mod?

I've been using a 107" with stronger spring for a while and agree with you, the lever pressure is getting a bit too much! I've bought an AIM, although have yet to fit it. I haven't seen any comments about them being a problem. As you have a later bike than mine there are other devices that reduce lever effort, so keep looking. There is one that I can't use on my older bike, but would be suitable for yours - unfortunately I don't recall the brand.

I bought a clutch lite kit. We'll see if that helps.
