Purchased bike used with 11k miles. It's a SG CVO.OP had a HD dealer install pipes and a tuner tune with a stage 2.
Left leg was getting additionally HOT.Waited for next ride on start-up.It didn't sound good.Investigated a broken pipe.Nice.....Not happy.
Called dealer who did install.I have the UPDATED version witch mean's EAT-IT!!
Guess SS shortchanged on engineering issues with the SHAKING 110 rubber mounted engines.I was told the first series damaged the oil pans at the mounting points.
I already ordered a new VH header.I will call SS tomorrow.
I haven't read any negative on this form or CVO forum.Possible a seperate case...I doubt it.The diameter of these look pretty thin.
**** happens every now and again...I am sure you will find the Vance and Hines quality is none better.
Nope sorry just put on a set of VH'S.The match to these not the pipes with the crossover.
VH added 2 brackets. One right at the break area(smart fix) and one attached to the oil pan.Definitely heavier pipes.SS pipes are TEMPORARY.
