Refresh my old feeble mind. What was the last year of a factory kick starter. I thought it was up till 78 1/2. I know you can put them on after 78 1/2. Can someone check their factory shop manual for 1978 1/2 to 1984 and see if the kicker has a inspection/repair/installation section? Did the 1984 Evo 4speed Softail come with a kicker from the factory?

 

Last year was 1986 FXWG...and yes the four speed softails had them.
