Default From Touring bike to Softail in 5 minutes

I just got back from a 2000 mile ride that included the Barber Vintage fest in Birmingham AL, Wheels Through Time in Maggie Valley NC, the Tail of the Dragon and back to South Florida. The bike ran great. I used the GPS but eliminated all highways and toll roads. The mountains are really beautiful right now as the leaves are turning.

Now it's time to turn my touring bike back into a Softail and wash it.
The entire transformation takes less than 5 minutes.

Would it be rude to say that putting bags and a windshield on a Softail doesn't make it a Touring bike? Just playing ya'... sounds like a nice ride. Did you go with the Manatee River HD group?

Sounds like a great trip. You are right, the Softail is quite a quick change artist.

Dude that's awesome! The versatilely of the softail is legendary. I've seen street glide styled softails, road glide styled softails, pro street softails, choppers, bobbers, cafe, dragster, low rider, SoCal, and many other styled softails. The versatilely of a softail is only limited by the owner's imagination and/or wallet.
