I don't buy that 'it happens'. That sounds like BS. I'd go to another dealer (or call around). That's waaaaayyyyyy too dangerous to 'let it work itself out'

My brake did the same thing starting around 700 mi. The dealer mechanic took the brake apart at 1000mi service and cleaned it out with brake cleaner. This fixed the problem.

Tolerance is very close between pads and disk on new bikes so if any brake dust or dirt gets behind the pads, they will drag on the disk.

My back one did the same and brake cleaner fixed it until another 700 miles and more dust. i just changed to
also the back caliper is not the same as the front. It uses the same as the springer.http://www.lyndallracingbrakes.comZ-PLUS

I wouldnt take the "sometimes happens" crap on a new bike with only 800 miles on it. Remember how much you paid for it and have them take care of it.

Is it sticking/ dragging or are the pads simply making noise? The pads always make contact with the disk and usually will be noisy until you ditch the crappy metallic OEM pads and put on some Kevlars.

tell the mechanic at the dealership some customers are "sometimes dicks"..and tell them to fix it or your taking your business elsewhere....dealers need to understand that the paying customer has the advantage
