You will get all kinds of anwers on this question, first of all personally i would stay away friom the download, if the RUSH are 1.75" baffles and smaller than you could probably get away with out doing the stage 1 &amp\\; the Fuel management, if you start getting excesive popping on decel than i would do the other two.

I agree with Archer1968 - stay away from the download. a power commander isn't but $279 from Fuelmoto, with the correct map already loaded - so, it's a 'plug-in and play' set-up. and with that, you'll need a low restrictive air filter.... my choice is the HD&nbsp\\;Screaming Eagle.

Do you have a high flow air cleaner? If not you'd be ok with a download. It wouldn't be the best solution for lowering engine temps and keeping your engine from running too lean but a download would help. Personally I have a power commander and have been really happy with it. Though my motivation for for buying it was not just because i got new pipes. I wanted more throttle response, a cooler running engine, better fuel/air mix. And the fact that i have a high flow air cleaner really made it necessary to install the p.c.

If you have 1.75 Rush pipes or smaller you don't "need" to do anything.&nbsp\\; I ran them on my Heritage and never had a problem until the packing went bad which I believe made the bike run too lean.&nbsp\\; Anything larger and they recommend a remap/fuel manager.&nbsp\\; Some members have reported good results from just adding a product called an XIED for about $100.&nbsp\\; Plenty of threads already out there on that.&nbsp\\; You'll find a large thread in the forum tuning section.
