First Bike....Help!
Hey guys,
 \\;
I just recently purchased my first bike about a month ago. \\; When I purchased the bike it had a small leak just below the rocker box on the front. \\; I had a mechanic replace the necessary gaskets I bought at the harley shop and so far everything has been good. \\; The last few times I have rode my bike it seems like it is getting very hott! \\; I notice it mainly from the right side of the bike and I rode it about 60 miles this morning and when I finished I noticed on the right side of the front rocker box I had a red like just where it bolts on or where a gasket would go. \\; Does anyone know if the red line can be from heat or could the gasket be showing? \\; I have noticed when the bike is running I cannot get an oil reading because the dip stick just has bubbles on it. \\; Could this be because my bike is getting to hot? \\; I would appreciate any advise you might have for this problem.
 \\;
thanks

 \\;That would probably be an 80 cu. Evo. I have a 96' Heritage and my oil temp runs around 190-195 degrees, \\;on a warm day (85 - 90 degree) \\;An oil temp probe on the filler tube is a good invetment, you may wnat to get yourself one. About $20 give or take a couple bucks.
