Exclamation Disconnecting

Hi.
I am in need of help. I am struggling with disconnecting '09 Dyna's stock fuel gauge. The issue specifically is disconnecting the wiring harness from the connector. I have referred to the Harley manual but I am without success. Appreciative of your time.
Regards,
James

I changed the fuel gauge (before the bike had one of leds and I again install the original), but does not mark properly, with a third of the deposit, mark as if two thirds or more. The previous level marked correctly.

Any ideas?.

Thank you.
