Hello,
I ran a diagnostic this afternoon. There was no chel engine light, and all diagnostics said "none" for no codes. However, after "none" was displayed, Pn 32889-04 was displayed. Does anyone know what this code mean?

It's an 05 883. 7500 miles. The bike runs fine. I just bought it last week. It "coughs" every once in a while, and if I twist the throttle too fast it cuts out real quick then accelerates. It could be the gas? I haven't changed it. I know it had stabil in it. I plan on draining it tomorrow and seeing if that helps.

That's not a code... It's the part number of the module you just checked for codes. So don't waste your time checking anything - If it said none for each module you checked then there's nothing wrong.

but, no explaination given.
The module part # is the correct answer. Nothing to worry about. My '05 883 says "33928-04b".

 

the code is nothing to be concerned about...the pop and stutter, prolly means its not tuned correctly...I don't know what mods you have done, but it sounds like it is running a bit lean...

 

Thanks for the info. I haven't done any mods. Bike is completely stock. I will drain gas today and use fresh gas to see if it helps. The gas in it now is from last year with stabil in it. This could be the problem
