Good thing I welded mine on both ends. So if you do this mod, definately dont try to save a few bucks by not getting them welded.

I would bet the weld looked like pigeon droppings on that shock.

I keep having a dream where one of my front forks breaks while I'm riding next to a tractor trailer on the freeway. Now I'm gona have dreams of my shock breaking while riding in front of a blind paraplegic who is driving the same truck.
