Good thing I welded mine on both ends. So if you do this mod, definately dont try to save a few bucks by not getting them welded.

 

I would like to see the end where it broke close up.

Probably why dirty air welds both eyelets

 

I would bet the weld looked like pigeon droppings on that shock.

 

A little duct tape will fix'er right up.

 

I keep having a dream where one of my front forks breaks while I'm riding next to a tractor trailer on the freeway. Now I'm gona have dreams of my shock breaking while riding in front of a blind paraplegic who is driving the same truck.

 

so you think it gives the bike an extra inch or 2 of drop?
