Hello everybody. I have bought a 2013 flhx.i also purchased a tour pack off a 2012 ultra limited.i hooked up the lights by using the wire pig tail under the left side cover.this lit up the running and brake lights..but how do I get the turn signals to work on the pack.the pack has 1157 bulbs..I have read countless threads but none cover the turn signals..can anybody help.?

 

Probably because your 2013 doesn't have turn signal capability for the tour pak. Believe that was a feature beginning with the Rushmores. Can always get this

 

You're gonna have to make a jumper off of the brake/turn signal harness. The plug is on the left side of the bike. The plug is by the left side cover. The best way to go about it would be to sources both side plug and then make the new jumper harness. There was a cat who use to make/sell them but he went of of business.

 

I was hoping for a y connector that would plug in at the rear harness..

 

If you are looking for a plug in play type install here is your best bet.

Tour-pak Brake-Running-Turn-Signal-Conversion Kit

 

I got that kit several years ago and it worked fine. A bit of a PITA to install but not too bad.

Last week it quit working and since I didn't want to cough up the bucks again, I cut the module out. I replaced it with some relays and wired them up to the existing wiring from the kit. All is well again.

I bought an after market tour pack and the lights came with out a plug on the end. Each light has 3 wires coming out. I have the pack attached to a detachable mount onto a 2012 street glide. If I could use these lights for running and brakes that would be great. What do I need to buy and how can I hook this up. Any info is greatly appreciated.

 

Another option .... I just bought the module converter from custom dynamics. Converted my tour pack brake/tail lights into turn signals as well. Also the factory l.e.d. lights on the side of the pack are turns also, so essentially I have rear side turns now.
