Default 120R performed flawlessly today

Got to put it out there, left at 6 this morning, rode all day almost 600 miles and the 120R performed flawlessly all day.

Attached is a picture of the dash during one of the rare moments I had the cruise engaged on a very long stretch of Straight Montana road.

Checkout the airtemp guage. (I have the temperature sensor externally mounted, so not inside fairing) and then check head temp on the PV then oil pressure and then oil return temp (oil temp as it leaves cooler)

Pepe' ran all day, averaged 36 mpg and never missed a beat.

Certainly can't complain about having power anytime or how much cooler it runs vs previous 110.

Very happy with today's ride

Had to share.

that's great! It will keep doing it. I have 10K on the 120 in the Freewheeler and is at 40 mpg at 65 mphl At 80 mph it drops to 30 mpg. The 120 in my Street Bob is at 3K and also no issues. In the light Dyna platform it is doing over 47 mpg.

Note to self. When the 110 gives out, look at one of these. Looks good. How were you able to pick up the oil temp as it came out of the cooler?

I picked up a brass t fitting with a treaded center. Sold by HD, old kit pre oil cooler and put the t fitting in the return line of the oil cooler.
Easy simple and servicable. Did not want to measure oil temp out of motor but return temp back to engine. Measure engine temp with pv to measure head temp. So i have 2 data points on engine temp. If oil coming out of cooler goes over 200 its a concern. I m seeing 170 oil temp consistently out of cooler with ET between 235 and 255.
