Highest Oil Temps?

Default Highest Oil Temps?
Ok all you guys with oil temp gauges what is the highest temp you have seen? I noticed this year with temps 90+ everyday that when i'm really getting on it the oil has gotten up to 230 at times. by getting on it i'm talking about winding it up to 5000-6000+ rpm before shifting for a few miles on my way home. running dino.

replaced my analog with a digital recently... the temps are different. the analog never saw over 200. the digital has reported 220.

70mph cruise in 90F weather and it peaked at 205. Full synthetic.

Edit: I'll add that I calibrated my analog one and it is right on the money +/- 5 degrees since that is its resolution.

2012 service manual states 230 as normal operating temp. Reached at 50 miles of cruising speed.

I have the analog and never see over 200

Im running Vtwin 20w50 synthetic in crank

With the hot days here in Orlando, FL... this past Saturday I saw 230, 237, 246... yeah, traffic, hot day... I even started turning it off at the red lights... glad to read that 230 is normal operating temp... I was searching before picking up the user manual to search for it there...

I run around 200 with syn 20w50 and a tuner. Have hit around 220 on hot days and long rides.

This is the highest I ever got. Then again, summer might be a different picture.
