Default ECM High Idle Question

Before I put my PCV on I would occasionally get a high idle around 1800-2000 rpm that would not resolve itself. I learned this is sometimes caused by turning off the ignition switch first instead of the kill switch. I have no problem when I do the "reset" process of turning the ignition switch on/off four times with the kill switch set to run. That seems to work.

The high idle issue was not eliminated after I installed the PCV.

Does anyone know if there is an ECM flash or another fix that solves the high idle issue?

Thanks.

The only time that I have had a high idle situation was shutting her down with the rpm's up. It did not make any difference which switch I used to kill the motor. I always use the kill switch to shut her down the only difference is that I make sure the rpm's are as low as they will go before I do it. I have not had any issues in a long time.....
