Wink What type of fork oil to use

Hi, to all i am having my 2004 Road King custom flhrsi forks replaced with chrome one's and i am not sure on what type of oil to use. I've been going through old threads and there seems to be various preferences on type E, type B, SE heavy and SE extra heavy. Any suggestions from Road King owners on what is the best fork oil to use?
Thanks

I can tell you only from my personal experience. Keep in mind that mine is an 09 so I am not sure how much difference there is. At first, I was going to use the SE heavy because everyone on this forum was talking it up. Then I realized that most of them had a fairing also. I ended up going with the factory recommendation "type E". I am very happy I did. Very smooth ride but that is what I like. I was just afraid the SE heavy on the Road King might be a little too much. It is easy to change if you decide one oil was a bad choice.

I ran the SE heavy in my old softail best change I ever made, really stiffened it up and made it able to handle rough rodes without bottoming out
