Default Bike will not start after radio install

Hello everyone.

I spent today installing a refurbished HK radio into my 2008 street glide. Now my bike will not start, I do not have front or rear lights. The only lights that do work are the backlighting for the speedo and the rpm's. Radio turns on but says not calibrated. Ive checked all the fuses and they are all fine.

Anybody got an idea what it is going on.

I disconnected the radio and still will not start.

Something shorted or blown. Check fuses.

Fuses all good, not one broken. Harleys only have the one fuse panel, right?

This is my case, but it may be not yours!
My bike is 2010. I disconnected many the connectors in the front panel to replace the handlebar. Put everything back, and I had no electrical display at all; obviously the bike wouldn't start. I checked all the fuses, and they were good.
I re-disconnected all the same connectors, cleaned, applied di-electric grease, re-connected, and everything was working perfectly since.
You may have all the good fuses, but maybe one, or two bad connections.

Thanks to all who replied.

I did the connection recheck, but still nothing. Kill switch off?

This is really baffling me. Guess it is going to the dealership. The dealership techs told me installing the radio is self explanatory, just plug n play.

Check the ignition wire that plugs in underneath the radio, When I changed my bars out I had accidently pulled the wire out just enough to were it wasnt making a connection.

It should have been just plug and play. Something else going on. I would check ever connecton in the fairing and fairing cap. In the process on your work something could have come loose. You may have already answered this but with the bike turn over at all? Lights not working, bike not starting, and only a plug n play radio install. Something is shorted out or unplugged by accident. That's all I can think of. Good luck.

Big Yup to KYFATBOB

The connector that comes out from the neck is wicked loose, I jiggled it (jiggle is a tech term right?) and the bike started right up.

Thanks to all who gave input.
