Default Recommend a Pickup Ramp...???

I'm looking for recommendations for a metal ramp to use for loading a baggerer onto the bed of a standard height pickup. Preferably one wide enough to drive the bagger up it. And it would be nice if it folded up for easy storage. Any recommendations?

Discount Ramps usually has good prices and some excellent ramps. I have bought a couple from them and I really like the black widow's.

Borrowed one from a neighbor that he got from harbor freight to pick up my road king. Rated for 1500 lbs. It folded into three sections and worked like a charm. Don't know what he paid but I think it was under a C note.

I'll have to say that I really like the looks of the Big Boy ramps also, and if I used a ramp more often, I would probably buy one of them, but I don't use one enough to justify buying another since I already have two.

They didn't have those in aluminum when I bought mine, I think I would get that one, because that 30-35lbs less weight is a lot when you load and unload by yourself like I do. Even though I can do it by myself, it does take some extra work that could be saved with the big boy. I think you should look at that ramp.

Find a loading ramp at local motorcycle shop or grocer store. Usually same level.

I use a tri-fold ATV ramp from sams club- $80 or so.

harbor freight sells similar.

about 7' long capacity over 1000 pounds.

the center section is a little too open for me so I lay a piece of 1/2" ply over the center, makes for smoother rolling.

anytime you are going into a truck, the least height differential the better.

My local supermarket has a loading dock about the same height as my truck, I sometimes use their dock

I know you didn't ask, but I built my own take apart ramp using this guide. Works well for me.

Funny, that's the one I was going to suggest. I haven't built one yet, but it looks easy enough and would certainly be safe enough.
