we went on a ride this weekend and got caught in some nasty rain we rode in it for about an hour but my radio has now quit working. it doesnt light up or do anything.
i was listening to radio thru aux port and all of a sudden it went to radio without me pushing any buttons and then i scrolled thru am fm cd and it didnt show option for aux port then the lights went off and it hasnt worked since.
any help is appreciated i dont know if a fuse went out or the whole radio?
Pull the side cover off and check the fuse. If it blown, replace and see if it works. If you still have a problem then I would say its the radio. If the fuse is still good, check connections inside the fairing. If they are all good, again it may be the radio
Water probably ran down the aux cable and into the radio.
I would leave the CD door open and the unplug aux and leave it uncapped maybe when the moisture evaporates it will start working again.
And check the fuse as others suggested.
