Default Stereo Question

I would like to use the Arc 125.4 in my Ultra. Does anyone know if anyone sells a bracket to attach this amp to the radio? I thought that I read somewhere that you have to cut the fairing to use this amp? Does anyone have expirence with this amp? Thanks.

Eastside HD in your neck of the woods offers a package using the Arc 125.4 that includes a modified right vertical fairing bracket.

141Starlifter (Scott) sells a bracket to mount the amp over the HK radio, and the CB/XM/Ipod modules (two only) below the radio. Myself and several others here have used it for other amps, including the Arc 125.2 which is similar in height and depth to the 125.4.

sublime_ac (not sure about spelling), a member here, posted that he bought the bracket from Eastside and installed the Arc 125.4. You can probably use the search function above and use Arc 125.4 as the search term an find his posts on the topic, as well as one by another member who had the Eastside HD 125.4 package installed on his bike.

I'll find the post I did on Scott's bracket and edit this post to supply the link.

Good luck with your project.

I ended up using the Rockford Fosgate 300W, 4-channel, 4 ohm impedance amp and am very happy with it.

Good luck with your project.

Here's a link to the Eastside HD 125.4 installation with pictures.

Thank you for taking the time to look up all those links. I appreciate it. I am trying to figure out my stereo upgrade and I am finding it a little overwhelming. Thanks again for your time!

You're welcome. I'd recommend the RF PBR300x4 (300W, 4-channel, 4 ohm impedance amp) and Scott's bracket. The bracket makes the installation of the amp very simple by moving the CB module below the HK, and the bracket's top shelf is pre-drilled to attach the RF amp. And, 75W per channel is plenty of power IMO. RF supplies the harnesses for the amp inputs and outputs. This is the thread on my installation of the RF amp, etc.:

Good luck with your research.
