Enlighten me on "cats"
So are these only on California bikes? Are they inside my headpipes on a new bike from Canada please? Hard to take out if they are in mine?Thanks

As of 2010 they are on all touring bikes

Is that to say my 2011 will have to be emissions tested in 2013? Just bought a Header just to dump the cat.

If you remove the cats and live in an area that require emission tests your scoot will very likely fail.
There will be days in the near future when you will no longer be able to modify or put after market exhaust systems on your bike unless it meets EPA standards.
