Horn Relocation problem for LeNale Fan

Default Down tube
When i was trying to install the horn on the down tubes, I still had the chrome cover on. Somewhere I read that maybe I should have removed the chrome cover from the horn when mounting it on the tubes. I didn't think to do that as it looks ugly exposed, but maybe I need to do it until I can find another horn or horn location. I did see one on the left side near the frame rail that looked ok. Keep the suggestions coming.

Mounted mine behind rear cylinder on one of the holes in frame. took off chrome cover.

That may have been mine... It was a bit labor intensive to mount it there but I'm happy with it.
