Finally broke down and bought the LeNale Fan for my 2009 Ultra Classic. The fan installation was not a problem, but I can't seem to relocate the horn.
The instructions give 3 options for the horn, one of which is to mount it under the air reflectors, but I have the adjustable back rest and put the lever under the air deflector, so no room for the horn
The 2nd place is on the uptube, but the horn then either hits the lower fairings or gets hit by the shift lever. The last one, of course, is to buy a different horn from HD.
I can't be the first to have this problem, how have you solved it?

Reason: clarification
Under the passenger seat, between the vinyl seat cover and the foam......
I have the adjustable back rest mechanism under the seat, so don't think that will work.

I looked at that, but my pipe comes out that side, and thought it might get too hot. Any problems with the heat?

When you say front fairing, do you mean like where the radio is located?? If so, can you hear it? If the front fairing is the louvers on the sissy bars, then that probably would work. Can you be more specific?
I put my horn inside, covered by the right side cover. If you remove the right side cover, there is a plenty of room for the horn. I don't have ABS and I think this available space is where the ABS module would be if I had it. No heat issue in there and I like that the horn is hidden.
if you buy a different horn, one that is smaller, badlands for example, it is much easier to relocate. usually not as loud but I put mine right below the neck on the downtubes, its out of sight, looks good when you do see it and is reasonably loud, in a European sort of way!!
