Default electrical gremlin in the RG

Other day I had the bike washed. When I walked outside I noticed the speedo and tach were lit up. I checked the ignition and it was off. I cranked the bike, shut it down and the lights stayed on....just my speedo and tach. I cranked it again, turned my accessory switch on. I shut the bike off, but left the accessory switch on and the gauges weren't lit up. If I turned the accessory switcch off, they stayed on. Rode the bike home and when I shut it off at home, it was back to normal. There is nothing wired to my accessory switch. I have not recently changed any wiring. I had bars done at the same time as an amp, but that was almost 2 months ago and it has been washed several times since. Any ideas?

Water in switch assemblies do funny things. If it happens again, blow them out with compressed air.

10-4. Supposed to be very careful about water around your switches.

Roger, the kid that washed it is one of the guys who washes bikes at the dealer I work at. He is actually really good. Thanks for the answers, I kind of figured it was something like that....
