Ok, WTF is going on? For some reason my mini tach and my speedo stoped working. It did for the first time last week on my way home from work. When I got home I checked the fuses and they were all ok. I removed the fuse for gage's and put it back in and everything worked just fine. But then it happend again on my way to work today. As soon as I relized that they were not working I pulled over and shut off the engine and restarted it and everything was working just fine.... WTF is going on??? Has anyone ever had this problem? I'm going to ride to Sturgis this year and just don't want any problems on my trip. Thanks for any input.
I've had that problem when I shut the motor off and don't use the kill switch. I'll be keeping up with freeway traffic and the speedometer says I'm going 20mph. Stays that way till I override it by using the kill switch.

So maybe I should start using the kill switch and see if it does it still. Thanks for the input.
Right about kill switch. There has been a problem with some models concerning speedo and speedo/tach registering properly. Come to find out, it had to do with how the engine is shut off. Shut off sequence should be, kill switch, turn ignition off. On start, kill switch on, turn ignition on.
