I'm thinking of adding the four speaker system to my new road glide. does anyone have this system and how do the rear speakers sound? will the wife be satisfied? I have seen enough reviews on hogtunes in general to beleive I will be happy, but I am concerned if the wife will be able to hear the rears.

If she can't hear them, then she needs hearing aids.

I am blown away with the HogTunes...........they rock.

I just put the 4 speaker system in my Ultra Classic last week. I can now have the music so loud that I can't hear my exhaust or my buddy's exhaust right next to me.....and that is only on 5 bars on the volume.

Hogtunes are a very good product with great customer service.

Do not expect deep bass pounding though. But overall a very good improvement over stock speakers.

As to whether or not your wife will be satisfied... is it really possible to satisfy a wife?

 

Just installed 4 Hog Tunes speakers and a Sony GT400 w/ XM on my new Road Glide. Incredible sound, great investment. Wife happy, me happy.

If you want big bass, then you wll have to run and amp and turn your TourPac into a sub woofer box !!!

 

I just installed the hog tunes on my EC with a Sony 300, I think that they suck! I'm used to quality car audio products, and these are not in my opinion. I get alot of distortion in the high teens (18+) on the volume control. Maybe I just got a bum set?

 

I love my Hog Tunes man! Wifey tells me to fade to the front most of the time, to loud for her in the rockin chair of the Ultra.

 

I'm not really looking for alot more bass, just want the wife to be able to hear the speakers, right now I only have fronts and she cant hear them when we are rolling. As far as having a satified wife, you have a point.

 

I have Hogtunes on my Roadglide and installed a 4 speaker set on a friends Ultra. I've never heard a statement like this in over a year of Hogtune reviews on this forum. You need to call Pez and talk to him about your problems. I've heard about every speaker dombination on a Harley and have never heard quality like I get from my Hogtunes.

BTW...my buddy has them on his bagger and he swears by them.
