Default 2015 SGS Problem

Here it goes, I am going to drop the bike off at the dealer to have this fixed but I decided to post this in case someone here has experienced this problem.

The other day I turned the bike on and it went into DIAG mode. I shut the bike off and turned it back on and it did it again. This repeated two more times then the last time the bike came out of DIAG mode and was ready to roll. This is when I noticed that the trigger switch was no longer operating and when you initially turn the bike on (all the gages cycle) the speedo and tach no longer cycled, the needles would move about a 1/16 inch vibrate like they were stuck and then settle out. After that gages do the little stutter thing and I start the bike they work normally. Other than those issues the bike runs flawless. Fast forward to yesterday, I (not making this up) filled the gas tank and low and behold the trigger switch started to operate, but the speedo and tach still did not work.

Today I decided that I wanted to see if I could get the error codes, now that the trigger switch was working. Under BCM and SPDO I have two error codes 62201 and 62255. I also get a scroll of PN 69994-128. So I shut off the bike and when I turned it back on I got the DIAG mode again. So I am now back to the point that the trigger switch and speedo/tach gages are not working properly.

Anyone know what the hell is going on? Like I said I am going to drop the bike off to have the dealer look at this issue. Let me know what you think.

My trigger switch failed, but there were no other problems. I took it apart and messed with it and it briefly worked again, but just briefly.

The dealer was prepared to diagnose it, but they didn't have the part and I didn't want to mess with drop off/wait/pick up, so I ordered the illuminated switch kit from New Castle and installed it in about 10 minutes total.

The illuminated switches are really nice at night, but pricey.

Get back to the dealer. It's probably an issue caused by the install and should be guaranteed.
