Default Do I Need a Bigger Grip?

On long rides my right hand gets sore and cramped. I switched to the HD Get a Grip and I have the same problem. I use to ride a metric that had a 1.25 inch bar, and my hand never got sore or cramped. Do I need a bigger grip and if so is there a grip that will simulate like I have a 1.25 bar?.

Have you tried the throttle rocker type palm rest thing-a-ma-bobs? You may be gripping your grips too tight and could rest your palms.

I had the Harley Get a Grip on mine and it would numb my hands very quickly. I figured I must just be gripping it too tight and made a very conscious effort to relax my hands all the time but never got rid of the pain and numbness. I swapped out to Kuryaken ISO grips and became instantly much happier. The Get a grips just didn't work for me.

Not a big fan of most things Kuryakan, but have these and like them.

They work for me on my 2009 FLHTC, before that hand would get numb, not now.

My old metric had the ISO Grips on them , maybe that is the common denominator here. Are the ISO's bigger than normal, is that why they are more comfortable?
