Angry Hand grips

I have a new set of grips for my bike. Swapping the throttle grip is easy. But what about the left side? I can't get the factory hand grip off. What's the trick here?

Cut it off. It's glued on.

I just death gripped it and twisted back and forth until it came off.
Or you can just cut it off.

Yep, use an exacto knife or similar and cut long ways right down the grip and peel it off.

If you have an air compressor, you can use an air gun and stick it under the edge of the grip and pull the trigger. The grip should start to lossen up an slide off.

If you want to save it, take a long thin screwdriver and slide it under a bit work it up and down and back an forth, squirt some WD40 keep doing it and it'll come off quite easy... Just gotta mees with it a bit.. Old hacksaw blade will do it also but may break.

I took a razor blade to mine. They're not worth enough to sell on Ebay and I have no plans on ever going back to the black rubber stock grips.

I cut mine off with a box cutter. It came right off once I started peeling it.

You can also loosen the glue using a hair dryer and a thin screw driver. If you are trying to save the grips.

I was able to remove mine without ruining it by using a screwdriver and gently prying it up and twisting the grip.
