Just changed my fluid out today. Front fluid was like new. Rear fluid was black as tar. That is the second time in 5 years (3 changes) the rear was bad dirty !
I think I will go to every year on changes.

I just think it's piece of mind. After all the systems are not 100% sealed, so they do allow moisture in.

Yeah, and the rear master cylinder is right down in the elements all the time.
By the way , if you are doing your own changes I found it easy to use a 60ml disposable syringe with a large long needle to refill the master cyl.
