Red light came on, coded out something in the intake system. Dealer had trouble getting the part, then the first one failed (it was a seal of some sort). After a few weeks, new part finally came in, but after repair, coded bad again. The failure causes the idle to increase up prox 1800 and the red light comes and goes. Anyone had any simular experience?
Sounds like an intake leak of some sorts, should be fairly simple to fix.
With the engine running you can spray WD40 or even water from a squirt bottle around the intake manifold area to pin point the leak. When you find the leak the idle will slow down.
