Default Power Comander lllusb

I have 05' FXDCI and would like to put some vance and Hines Big Radius Pipes, the Screaming Eagle Stage 1 Kit (ECM & Air filter) on it.
I know Harley really pushes their "Download" but everyone I've talked to tells me it is over priced and forces you to go back to the dealer everytime you need to change anything. Vance & Hines recommend the PClllusb for my bike.

Is there anyone out there that has the same bike that has done this already?
If so, what is your experience?

There are MANY PC's in use. They are effectively replacing any "downloads" that a Harley dealership does.

I have a friend that happens to have a business on an industrial area street near a local HD dealership. He says that the mechanics test ride their 'jobs' on that street. He says he would never buy a Harley to be worked on by that dealership, that they stomp hell out of every bike that they ride - all of them. **** a Harley Dealership! It's just a shame that you have to buy the bike there, most dealership owners don't even like motorcycles and could care less how their monkeys treat them. They also LIE.

The only time that I would go back to the dealership is for a warrauty issue. Like your horn; what did they do for you?

The warranty is an interpretation by the dealer and most of the time they will come out on top. The engine is their main concern, don't go IN unless you have the dealership do it.

The more I hear and read, the less it seems the Dealerships do to satisfy their customers. [:@]

BClem,
The dealer replaced the horn and now it back the where I started with it, nice and quiet unless needed!
The dealership I go to is very different than the ones that keep coming up here?
I have purchased two bikes from them and have friends that have been dealing with for many years without a single complaint!
One of the main reasons I bought my bike thought them was the attention to the customers, in fact yesterday I got call to verify the horn was the problem! pretty cool I thought.
If anyone ever brings up the needs for a bike I will direct them straight to these shops.
