Turn signals won,t stay on

I have a "99" Ultra Classic. The turning signals cancel before I can make a turn,they just don,t stay on long enough.. Can this be adjusted or do I have to replace the Turn Signal module? If so any ideahow much this may cost? Thanks in advance
