I have seen about a thousand post's lately asking and or talking about this subject. So here it is I had the stock mufflers from my '06 Street Glide, still hanging around so I cut them open for all to see. Here are the pics, I hope this help's with all of the talk.
The left side of the pic is the end of the muffler, I cut off both end's because it was just eaisier to get it apart this way. The solid part at the right of the pic is the cat.
