Default Friday the 13th

There's only 45 days until Friday the 13th in Port Dover Ontario. It's another Friday the 13th (only one this year), This tradition of having a party on Friday the 13th, when ever they fall, has been going on since 1981.

Used to be a great place to go but it's difficult to get your bike out once you park it and i'm not into it taking 2-3 hrs. to get out of town....besides there are a lot of place far nicer to ride to.........

I am making the run over to Port Dover on the 13th. Is it a good time? I've heard good things about it. It's about a 9 hour ride from home. We plan on staying in London Thursday & Friday night then heading north to the Tuberberry Ferry ride then on to the Soo, then home.

If your into large crowds....no place to walk....a small market in the park...a huge police presence...realizing everyone gets stopped on the way out of town...could be worth a nine hour drive, but i doubt it. The best thing is to go see for yourself and all you can hope for is great weather and good friends on your trip.

I think the saying "it's not the destination....it's the journey" was penned by someone after a Friday the 13th in Port Dover......
