after.  I went with a 21x3.5" in front and 18x5.5" in the rear. The front of the bike was raised about 1/2-3/4". I may slide the fork tubes up to even the ride out. I am in the process of remounting the front fender I need to file the holes a bit to raise the fender 1/4".

Wow!

What a difference wheels make, huh? Very nice Bro! This just might be my next winter mod!

Custom wheels have a big impact on the overall looks of the bike and your wheels look very nice!

I remember you had someone photoshop the wheels on the bike a few weeks back. You made a great choice! Didn't you have a 17X5.5 on the back originally? That's what I have now and, thanks to you, it looks like new wheels are in my (distant) future.

Great looking bike, wiegs!

Yes, the photoshop really helped me decide. It was still a tough decision. It is a lot of dough to spend if you don't like the finished product. I think the original rear wheel size is 17x4.25. I really love the 120/70-21 in front.

wiegs-If you don't mind me asking, where did the wheels come from ? They give the bike a custom look. Great work.

The wheels are hogpro "dominators".

Here are some more pics with my touring setup and the front fender mounted. I plan to get a new fender, but probably not this year. I don't think it looks too bad.

Went for a ride with my new wheels and the bike handles great. The only negative is the front wheel is heavier and you can feel that in the bars. Overall very pleased!

Those wheels look awesome Weigs. The front tire. What kind? I know it is dumbassed of me, but is it mounted in the right direction? I don't know why I ask, because I am probably 180 degrees out. I don't know why I am even seeing the tire, the rims look great

Very Nice....

I have the HD star wheels.. and like yours, easy to clean. I chose mine mostly for that reason... Hell, anything other then the stock wires would look better anyway.
My nephew has aluminum (satin.. unpolished, non-chrome) wheels with a very complex pattern. Impossible to clean. And the matching sprocket only lasted 9,000 miles.
If you have an aluminum drive sprocket, I would advise to get the poly overlay for the teeth. My nephew did, and loves it... Should last forever (they say).

man those wheels look great! i love how much open area you have on your rear wheel! very cool...instead of getting a new fender why not just chop up the one you have?

They are mounted in the correct direction. That was the first thing I checked when I opened the boxes.

The tires are avon cobra's. Metzler's were backordered a month.

Thanks for getting me running straight Weigs, I knew I was off line. Avons, good looking combo and I can see a wheel change for my Bob coming up this winter. I am tired of spokes.
Your set up looks really great.
