Default Exile Bikes

I like the industrial look of Russel Mitchels (spelling?) Exile Cycles. Does anyone own or know of someone who has one of his bikes? How well made are they? Ect. ect.

Don't know of anyone that has one. At first I didn't really like the look but I must admit, they sorta grow on you. I've enjoyed watching Russell on the bike builder shows as well.

Talked to him briefly in Myrtle Beach. Seems like he knew his stuff.

Seen and voted at the Fowlerville Easy Rider Rodeo on Russell's and Detroit Bros bikes. Exile had a Trike and Det Bros a Spikey scoot. Both excellent looking but the glass oil reservoir on Det Bros bike won me over.

Have talked with a few owners. They said pretty much bullet proof. Russel's bike look like motorcycles. One of the best (OK, the best of the best) features of his bikes? Gotta look real hard to find any steenkin' chrome!

I like the fact that he is different from other bike builders. He has his own style and you can have any color of bike that you want as long as it's black. I like the trike that he made, I wouldn't mind having one of those.

I'm a big fan of his bikes and his personality as it comes across on TV. Sure seems more real than WCC or OCC. Art

Exile bikes are the Anti-Chrome... I love the industrial look and I like his styling ideas. I would love to have that trike he built.... my favorite bike of his so far.

The thing I like most about Exile bikes is that they are riders, not boutique bikes like the OCC crap. A bike stops being a bike and starts being modern art when you can't ride it further than the local bar in comfort.
