Hey Guys, I think I have changed my mine on what pipes I will get on my RK (when I get it) at first I was going to get V&H but I don't really like any of the styles they have for the RK (no offense to anyone) so if anyone HAS, has heard, or has any opinions about these pipes don't be afraid to discuss (good or bad) thanks in advance!
My friend has Rienhart's on his 05 Road King Custom and he loves them. They look and sound great. Not quite as loud as the V&H but they sound real nice. He said the same thing about not liking the styles V&H had for the RK.
Roadking I have heard some bad thing's about fit & finish on reinhart's,chrome not good, weld's breaking, fit not fitting, one guy said he had 3 set's sent to the dealer and every one of them were bad and when he called customer service to complain he just got the run around from reinhart, I personally don't know first hand but I feel there overpriced, and from talking to some guy's that run dyno's they say their junk. Not my opinion(except on overpriced) just some thing's I heard. If you don't like the V&H pipe's try looking at Bassani or maybe SEII's.
Have you heard the SEIIs? The sound thing is a matter of opinion. My advice would be to hear them for yourself before counting them out...I'm not trying to push you either way, just want you to hear them before you give up on them.
I have the Reinharts on my 04 RK classic, and I love 'em. they're a great sounding pipe IMO, and the fit and finish is excellent. worth every penny as far as i am concerned. Have not dyno'd the bike, but seat of the pants showed a good improvement over stock (i also added a pciii usb). Around here, people swear by reinharts, and like i said, i love em.[sm=icon_rock.gif]
